As City Clerk, I lead a department that serves as Escondido’s source for informational, historical, legislative and election services. It is my daily goal to provide these services with integrity, accuracy and independence.
I was elected as City Clerk of Oceanside in 2012 and appointed to serve as the City Clerk of Escondido in 2018. As a public servant, I believe it is of utmost importance to streamline services, save taxpayer dollars and serve the community.
In addition to my role as City Clerk, I serve as the General Manager of New Directions for Academic Advancement, which is an educational non-profit that emphasizes literacy and character development.
I have had the honor of serving for twelve years in the private sector as a Sales Associate and Manager at Surf Ride Incorporated and a simultaneous ten years of service as a Pastor.
